Synchronize Folder
Synchronize Folder makes it easy to synchronize the contents of one folder with another, providing a choice of 6 synchronization options. This simple 3-step wizard begins by choosing the folder to synchronize with. (If you've previously synchronized this folder, the folder you chose for it last time will be selected automatically.)
In step two, choose one of the 6 synchronization options:
Update: Copies any new or modified files from the source folder to the target folder. In the final step, a list is displayed of the actions to be carried out. You can remove the checkmark beside any action you want to skip before clicking Finish. You can also right-click an item to check or uncheck all files in the same folder or all files with matching extensions, or double-click a file to see details of the file(s) being added, deleted or replaced.Refresh: If a file exists in both the source and the target folders, and the source file is newer, the source file will be copied to replace the target file.
Augment: Any files in the source folder which don't exist in the target folder will be copied there. Files which exist in the target already are not updated.
Delete Duplicates: Use this option to ensure that you have only one copy of each file on your system. If the source and target folders contain identical files, they will be deleted from the target folder (and moved to the Recycle Bin).
Delete Orphans: Use this option to ensure that the target folder doesn't contain files which are not present in the source folder. If a file exists in the target folder and not in the source folder, it will be deleted to the Recycle Bin.
Update and Delete Orphans: Carries out an Update action followed by a Delete Orphans action. On completion the target folder's contents will match the source folder's contents.
