Duplicate File

The Duplicate File shell extension simplifies the job of creating a copy of a file in the same folder and renaming it – a multi-step process in Windows. Simply right-click the file and choose Duplicate File (or assign a hotkey to this tool for quick access), type a new name and/or extension and press Enter.

If you choose a name that already exists (or leave the existing name unchanged in the dialog), the standard Windows naming for file copies will be used: 'Copy of ...', 'Copy (2) of ...', and so on.
