Command Prompt

This one couldn't be simpler to describe. Right-click just about anything (a file, a folder, the desktop, the background of a folder) and choose Command Prompt from the menu to open a command prompt or MS-DOS prompt window rooted to the current folder (or the folder you right-clicked).

If you use Windows Vista and want to open the command prompt with administrator privileges, hold the Shift key when clicking the Command Prompt item.

If you prefer to use a third-party command processor, ShellToys provides an option to specify the program you like to use instead.
