Add To Templates

This shell extension isn't actually a tool in its own right, this feature works hand-in-hand with the New From Template tool.

Whenever you come across a file you want to use as a template for creating new files in the future, just right-click it and choose Add To Templates, and type a friendly name for it. The file will be added to your personal templates store, and you'll see the name you chose on the New From Template menu.

It's a bit like the Windows New menu, but far more flexible and reliable. To start with, you're not restricted to having just one HTML template, one Word document, and so on – you can have many templates for a single file type. In addition, you can create templates from folders too, making it easy to create a new folder structure (including subfolders and files) from a template. It's also simple to work with, and puts you in complete control.
